London Design Festival 2010
At the entrance, visitors were encouraged to study an installation of mushrooms picked by New Forest forager Mrs Tee. The unique scent in the air – soft moss, wet lichen, tree bark and fallen leaves – was developed specifically for the space by leading French perfumer Francis Kurkdjian.
At the Brambles Café, a temporary eatery by Arabeschi di Latte and La Fromagerie, visitors feasted on food prepared using wild, seasonal ingredients from the countryside. On display was the first furniture collection by Faye Toogood, Assemblage 1.
